AI Contract Generator

Prefer to pick your own template? The AI Contract Generator lets you choose a template, fill in the fields, and AI writes the full contract text.

   Choose a template

   Go to /contracts/new or click "New Contract" → "From Template" from the dashboard.

   You'll see a grid of available templates organized by category:

   • NDA — Non-disclosure agreements (mutual or one-way)
   • Employment — Employment contracts, contractor agreements
   • Service Agreements — For services, consulting, freelance work
   • Sales — Sales contracts, purchase agreements
   • Real Estate — Lease agreements, property contracts

   Click the template that matches your needs. Free plan users get basic templates. Pro and higher plans unlock premium templates.

   Fill in the fields

   Each template has a set of fields to fill in. Fields are organized in sections:

   • Parties — Names, addresses, roles of each party
   • Terms — Dates, payment amounts, duration
   • Details — Scope of work, deliverables, specific terms
   • Options — Additional clauses, governing law, dispute resolution

   Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*). Optional fields can be left blank.

   Use the AI Assistant

   On Pro and higher plans, an AI Assistant is available in the form to help you fill fields — just click the assistant icon and ask for suggestions.

   Generate the contract

   Once you've filled in the fields, click "Generate Contract". The AI will:

   • Take all your field inputs
   • Apply them to the template's legal language
   • Add standard clauses and formatting
   • Generate a complete, professional contract

   Generation takes a few seconds. You'll see the text appear in the preview panel.

   Review and edit

   The generated contract appears in a formatted preview. Read through it carefully:

   • Edit any section — Click on text to modify it directly
   • Regenerate sections — Highlight a section and ask AI to rewrite it (learn how)
   • Change fields and regenerate — Go back to the form, change a value, and regenerate the whole contract

   Save the contract

   When you're happy with the contract, click "Save". The contract is saved with status "draft" and appears in your Contracts list.

   From there you can:

   • Sign it electronically
   • Email it to the other party
   • Download as PDF
