Upload & Analyze

Have an existing contract? Upload it and let AI extract key terms, identify risks, and summarize what's inside.

   Open the Upload page

   Go to /contracts/upload or click "New Contract" → "Upload & Analyze" from the dashboard.

   Upload your document

   Drag and drop your file into the upload area, or click to browse. Supported formats:

   • PDF (.pdf) — Most common, works great
   • Word (.docx, .doc) — Also supported
   • Text (.txt) — Plain text contracts

   Maximum file size: 10MB.

   AI Analysis

   Once uploaded, the AI processes the document. This takes a few seconds. It extracts:

   • Parties — Who's involved and their roles
   • Key dates — Effective date, expiration, deadlines
   • Financial terms — Payment amounts, schedules, penalties
   • Obligations — What each party is responsible for
   • Risk flags — Unusual clauses, missing protections, one-sided terms

   Review the analysis

   You'll see a structured breakdown of the contract:

   • Summary — A plain-English overview of what the contract says
   • Key Terms — Extracted fields in an easy-to-read format
   • Risk Assessment — Flagged clauses with explanations of why they're risky
   • Recommendations — Suggestions for what to negotiate or change

   Save to your account

   Click "Save" to store the contract in your SignetX account. It will appear in your Contracts list with the status "draft". You can then edit it, send it for signing, or keep it as a reference.
